The developer of Simple Skip Alarm (the "App") (the "Developer") respects users' privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in connection with the App.
1. Information Stored on Your Device
The App may store information necessary to provide its features, including alarm times, labels, repeat settings, snooze settings, skip status, sound settings, theme colors, premium feature status, and other related settings, on your device or in storage areas provided by iOS, such as App Groups.
This information is used to provide the App's functionality, including the main App, widgets, Live Activities, alarm notifications, and other related features. Alarm details are not transmitted to servers independently operated by the Developer.
2. Audio Files Selected by Users
If you select an audio file through the Files app or another supported method, the App may copy or store that audio file in the App's storage so that it can be used as an alarm sound.
Selected audio files are generally processed locally on your device and are not transmitted to servers independently operated by the Developer. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to use any audio file you select or add to the App.
3. Advertising
The App may use third-party advertising services, including Google AdMob, to display advertisements.
These services or their SDKs may collect or process information for purposes such as serving advertisements, measuring advertising performance, preventing fraud or abuse, improving services, and optimizing advertisements.
Such information may include approximate location derived from an IP address, device or advertising identifiers, information about advertisement views and interactions, app usage information, diagnostic information, performance information, and other information.
The information actually collected or processed may vary depending on the SDK version, your settings, your region, your consent choices, and other circumstances. Information processed by third-party services is subject to the privacy policies and other applicable terms of the respective service providers.

4. Tracking and Consent
If the App or a third-party service used by the App engages in activity that constitutes tracking as defined by Apple, the App will request permission where required using App Tracking Transparency or other mechanisms provided by Apple.
You may be able to review or change your permissions through iOS Settings. Advertising and privacy choices may vary depending on your region, operating system, SDKs, and the functionality and policies of the relevant service providers.
5. In-App Purchases
If the App offers premium features or other in-app purchases, transactions are processed through Apple's App Store and technologies such as StoreKit.
The Developer does not directly receive or store your credit card number or other payment card information. Information relating to purchases may be processed through Apple's systems for purposes such as verifying purchases, restoring purchases, and providing purchased functionality.
6. iOS System Features
The App may use system features provided by Apple, including AlarmKit, notifications, widgets, Live Activities, file selection, and other iOS functionality.
Where Apple processes information in connection with these features, Apple's applicable terms and privacy policies govern Apple's handling of that information.
7. Third-Party Services and Disclosure of Information
The Developer does not sell users' personal information, except where disclosure is required by applicable law.
However, third-party providers may collect or process information as necessary to provide services incorporated into the App, including advertising, purchases, crash analysis, diagnostics, or functionality provided by Apple.
When integrating third-party services into the App, the Developer will make reasonable efforts to review their data practices and operate the App consistently with applicable law, Apple's requirements, and this Privacy Policy.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Alarm settings, user-added audio files, theme settings, and other App data stored locally on your device may be deleted when you delete the relevant data within the App or uninstall the App.
However, the timing and extent of deletion may vary due to iOS, backup functionality, or other system behavior. Information managed by Apple, Google, or other third-party services is subject to the retention and deletion practices of the respective service providers.
9. Your Choices and Changes to Consent
You may be able to change permissions or consent relating to notifications, tracking, and other functionality through iOS Settings or settings provided by the relevant service.
Requests to access, correct, or delete information held by a third-party service provider may need to be submitted directly through that provider's procedures.
10. Children's Privacy
The App is not designed primarily for children and is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. Where additional measures are required under applicable law, the Developer will make reasonable efforts to comply with those requirements.
11. Security
The Developer will make reasonable efforts to take appropriate measures to protect information handled by the App against unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, destruction, or damage.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Disclaimer
The App is provided to assist with everyday alarm management.
Alarms, notifications, sounds, vibrations, widgets, or Live Activities may not operate or appear as expected due to circumstances including device conditions, operating system behavior or errors, permissions, notification settings, Focus modes, volume settings, silent or haptic settings, battery conditions, App errors, or failures of third-party services.
You should not rely solely on the App for medical or safety purposes, emergency preparedness, critical work obligations, transportation, or any other situation in which failure of an alarm could result in serious harm to a person, property, or other significant interests.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for damages arising from the use of or inability to use the App. This limitation does not apply where applicable law does not permit such liability to be limited or excluded.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
The Developer may update this Privacy Policy in response to changes in applicable laws, Apple's requirements, App functionality, SDKs, or third-party services used by the App.
Where appropriate, material changes will be communicated through the App, the App Store, this website, or another reasonable method. The revised Privacy Policy will become effective when published, unless another effective date is specified.
14. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan. However, mandatory laws applicable in the user's place of residence may apply where required.
