SIMPLE SKIP ALARM

Terms of Use

Last Updated: October 6, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") set forth the conditions governing the use of Simple Skip Alarm (the "App"). Users of the App should review these Terms and use the App in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

1. Purpose of the App

The App is designed to assist with everyday alarm management by providing features such as alarm scheduling, repeating alarms, snooze functionality, skipping the next scheduled alarm, and other related features.

The App is not designed primarily for medical, safety, emergency response, or other purposes involving the protection of life, physical safety, or significant property interests.

2. Alarm and Skip Features

The App may provide functionality that allows users to skip only the next occurrence of a scheduled alarm, together with other alarm management features.

Users are responsible for reviewing their skip status, repeat settings, alarm enabled or disabled status, scheduled times, and other relevant settings when necessary.

Due to the condition of the device, iOS, the App, or other circumstances, skip settings or other alarm settings may not always be executed or reflected exactly as intended by the user.

3. Alarm Operation

The App does not guarantee that alarms, notifications, sounds, vibrations, widgets, Live Activities, or other features will always operate at the specified time or exactly as expected.

These features may be affected by device conditions, iOS specifications, changes or errors, AlarmKit or other system functionality, permission settings, notification settings, Focus modes, volume levels, silent or haptic settings, battery conditions, available storage, device restarts, software updates, App errors, third-party service failures, or other circumstances.

4. User-Added Audio

If the App provides functionality that allows users to add their own audio files as alarm sounds, users are responsible for ensuring that they have all rights necessary to use such audio.

Users must not use audio in a manner that infringes copyrights, neighboring rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or any other rights of third parties.

Except where the Developer is liable under applicable law, users are responsible for resolving disputes with third parties arising from audio selected or added by the user.

5. Advertising

The App may display advertisements using Google AdMob or other third-party services.

Advertisement content, presentation, and products or services promoted through advertisements may be provided by advertisers or advertising service providers.

Transactions or interactions between users and third parties arising through advertisements are generally handled between the user and the relevant third party, except where applicable law imposes responsibility on the Developer.

6. Premium Features and In-App Purchases

The App may offer premium features or other paid functionality.

Available features, prices, purchase conditions, and other applicable details will be those displayed in the App or on the App Store at the time of purchase.

In-app purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and technologies such as StoreKit. Purchases, billing, refunds, restoration of purchases, and other App Store transactions are subject to Apple's applicable terms, policies, and procedures.

The Developer does not directly obtain users' credit card numbers or similar payment information outside Apple's payment systems.

7. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for appropriately reviewing and managing their device settings, alarm settings, volume, permissions, notification settings, skip status, and other settings necessary for their intended use of the App.

For important appointments or time-sensitive obligations, users are encouraged to use additional alarms, clocks, calendars, or other backup methods where appropriate.

8. Prohibited Conduct

When using the App, users must not:

9. Intellectual Property Rights

Rights in the software, design, text, images, logos, and other content included in the App belong to the Developer or third parties that lawfully hold such rights.

These Terms do not transfer or grant users any rights beyond those necessary to use the App in accordance with these Terms.

10. Changes, Suspension, and Discontinuation

The Developer may modify the App's functionality, specifications, design, advertisements, premium features, pricing, supported operating systems, or other aspects of the App when reasonably necessary.

The Developer may also temporarily suspend or discontinue all or part of the App due to maintenance, changes to operating systems or external services, technical circumstances, or other reasonable reasons.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Except as otherwise required by applicable law, the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

The Developer does not warrant that the App will be complete, accurate, uninterrupted, suitable for a particular purpose, continuously available, free from defects, or operate identically on all devices and operating system environments.

12. Important Notice and Limitation of Liability

The App is intended to assist with everyday alarm management. The Developer does not guarantee that an alarm will always sound, that a notification will always be delivered, or that a skip setting will always be applied exactly as scheduled.

Do not rely solely on the App for medical or safety purposes, emergency preparedness, medication schedules, critical work obligations, examinations, transportation, or any other situation where an alarm failure or incorrect setting could result in serious harm to a person, property, employment, or other significant interests.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for damages arising out of or related to the use of or inability to use the App, alarm failures, delayed or undelivered notifications, skip settings, loss of data, or other circumstances related to the App.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable consumer protection laws or other applicable laws.

13. Third-Party Services

The App may use operating systems, SDKs, advertising services, payment services, or other services provided by Apple, Google, or other third parties.

Such third-party services may be subject to separate terms of use, privacy policies, and other conditions established by their respective providers.

14. Changes to These Terms

The Developer may revise these Terms in response to changes in applicable laws, App functionality, external services, or other circumstances where an update is reasonably necessary.

Where appropriate, material changes will be communicated through the App, the App Store, the public website, or another reasonable method.

Revised Terms will become effective when published, unless another effective date is specified.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan.

However, mandatory consumer protection laws or other mandatory laws applicable in the user's place of residence will apply where required.
