Weight Diet Log (hereinafter referred to as the “App”) respects user privacy and takes care in handling information entered by users. This Privacy Policy explains how user information is handled in the App.
The App stores the following information that users voluntarily enter or configure within the App.
The App does not require users to enter information that directly identifies them, such as their name, address, phone number, or email address. However, if a user enters personal information or detailed health-related information in the notes field, record tag names, or similar areas, such information may be stored on the user’s device.
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect certain information, such as device information, advertising identifiers, IP address, information about ad impressions and interactions, app usage information, crash logs, and performance data, for purposes such as ad delivery, ad measurement, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
Records and settings entered by users in the App are, in principle, stored on the user’s device. The developer does not collect, store, or view the user’s entered content on an external server.
However, information related to advertising may be collected, transmitted, and managed by third-party services such as Google AdMob. Such information is handled in accordance with the privacy policies and terms of each service provider.
The method of data storage or management may also change depending on device backup functions, operating system specifications, the user’s own actions, or future feature additions.
Information stored in the App is used for the following purposes.
The App does not provide the user’s entered body weight, body fat percentage, record tags, notes, or other recorded content to third parties by the developer. However, this does not apply when disclosure is required by law.
Information related to advertising may be collected and used by third-party services such as Google AdMob. Such information may be used for purposes such as ad delivery, ad measurement, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
The App uses Google AdMob as an advertising service. Google AdMob may collect information such as advertising identifiers, device information, IP address, and information about ad impressions and interactions in order to display relevant advertisements and measure ad delivery and performance.

Users may be able to reset their advertising identifier or change settings related to personalized ads through their device settings. The available settings may vary depending on the operating system version and device.
At this time, the developer does not use its own analytics tools to analyze the content entered by users. However, due to the nature of advertising services, information such as ad impressions, ad interactions, and app or ad performance data may be collected.
If analytics tools, crash reporting tools, or other external services are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to clearly describe the information that may be collected, the purposes of use, and the parties to whom the information may be provided.
The App may display notifications to remind users to record their information at the time set by the user. Information related to notification settings is used for the purpose of displaying notifications. Users can allow or deny notifications through their device settings.
The App is a support tool for recording and reviewing body weight, body fat percentage, record tags, notes, and related information. It is not intended to provide medical services, diagnosis, treatment, nutritional guidance, or health management advice.
Information displayed in the App is based on content entered by the user and is organized and displayed for the user’s reference. The App does not guarantee medical accuracy or any specific health effects. If you have concerns about your physical condition or health, or if you plan to lose weight or restrict your diet, please consult a physician, registered dietitian, or other qualified professional as necessary.
Record data in the App can be deleted by using the deletion functions within the App. In addition, deleting the App from the device may also delete data stored on the device.
However, the handling of data may differ depending on the device or operating system specifications, backup status, and the user’s own settings. The deletion or management of information collected by advertising services is subject to the policies of each service provider and the user’s device settings.
Stored data may be lost due to device failure, loss of the device, device replacement, deletion of the App, operating system issues, failure to restore a backup, or other similar circumstances. Users are responsible for managing any information they consider necessary.
The developer shall not be liable for loss, corruption, inability to restore data stored on the user’s device, or any damages resulting from such events, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the developer.
The developer strives to provide the App as accurately and stably as reasonably possible. However, the developer does not guarantee all operations, results, or outcomes, including issues, damages, changes in health condition, errors in recorded content, data loss, problems caused by the user’s device environment, or issues related to advertisements or third-party services arising from the use of the App.
However, this does not apply if damage is caused to the user due to intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the developer.
The developer may change this Privacy Policy as necessary. This Privacy Policy may also be updated if advertising services, analytics tools, external services, features, laws, regulations, or service specifications change.
If any important changes are made, users will be notified in an easy-to-understand manner on this page or within the App.
